Elevating Patient Care with a Forward-Thinking Approach
Dr. David is always looking to the future and thinking of ways to elevate each patient’s dental experience. Part of this includes making sure his office is equipped with the latest in dental technology. From digital X-rays and intraoral cameras to Cone Beam imaging, cavity detection system, soft and hard tissue lasers, and more, patients can expect more comfortable and efficient appointments, all while receiving the tailored care they deserve.
CBCT 3D Imaging
Whether the goal is to use higher quality imaging to further assess for oral pathology, plan surgery, place dental implants, or map out the details of another more complex form of care, we can capture a 3D image of a patient’s dental and facial anatomy, ensuring greater precision during the procedure and easier at-home recovery.
Intraoral Camera
Offering extraordinary detail, our Sopro and Mouthwatch intraoral cameras allow Dr. David to capture high-resolution images and project them onto a nearby screen so that a patient can see what is happening inside their mouth. This pen-like device eliminates any guesswork and provides for better communication and greater clarity when discussing treatment options. The images we take with the intraoral cameras are stored digitally at our office. This allows us to develop a comprehensive history of your treatment and share it with your insurance company or specialists as needed.
Digital X-Rays Assisted with Pearl Artificial Intelligence (AI)
Dexis imaging assisted by AI can easily highlight the area beneath the gumline so that Dr. David and our team can closely examine the roots of teeth as well as the bone. This 2D imaging system is an integral component of every patient’s wellness journey, allowing us to spot potential issues that would otherwise be hidden from the naked eye.
Pearl is an innovative AI platform that’s acclaimed for its accuracy and cleared by the FDA. This groundbreaking technology aids Dr. David in reading your dental X-rays with unprecedented precision and confidence. We believe that by using this powerful instrument, we can usher in an even higher level of transparency, objectivity, and accuracy when it comes to our care.
Trios 3-Shape Digital Impression Scanner
We no longer rely on cold dental putty when capturing dental impressions. Instead of causing patients to gag or sit for minutes with a mouthful of gunk, we use our high-definition Trios digital impression system for a more comfortable and accurate approach. By quickly scanning the teeth to generate a 3D model, we can provide our lab technicians with a more accurate image they can use to build your custom restoration. This saves time and allows us to provide crowns, implant crowns, dentures and partials, nightguards, snore and sleep apnea guards, and others, much more efficiently and accurately.
Waterlase iPlus by Biolase
The dental handpiece (drill) is the most commonly used tool that a dentist has access to when it comes to treating teeth. It is used to treat pathologies related to teeth. It's fast, but also aggressive, and the most traumatic instrument used in a dental office. It’s chosen by the majority of dentists when their practice is built on doing as much treatment as fast as possible. It's a sad truth in dentistry. But did you know that there are dental lasers available as a full alternative and/or at least to be used as an adjunct to many treatments?
While the handpiece is likely here to stay in dentistry, Dr. David often uses specialized lasers during his treatments. Drills do not kill the bacteria that harm the teeth; they only remove the destructive effects they created. Lasers are much less invasive and gentler to the tooth, therefore lessening risks, and yes, they kill the bacteria. Using our Waterlase iPlus by Biolase, our techniques and care are built on health, not speed.
Soft Tissue Laser
Oftentimes, patients report to us with pain not related to teeth, but with muscles in the face and head, and in the TMJ. LLLT, or Low-Level Laser Therapy, is designed to provide relief and begin the repair process. The Epic diode is used to reduce inflammation and stimulate healing mechanisms.
When treating a lip or tongue-tie, addressing advanced gum infections, or administering gum recontouring, we use our Epic diode soft tissue laser. Known for its precision and comfort, the laser can quickly target key areas without harming healthy tissues. Children and adults who require laser treatment can expect greater efficiency while remaining completely relaxed throughout their procedure.
Sedation Dentistry
When nerves try to get the best of a patient, we can step in and suggest sedation dentistry as a safe and effective way to calm anxiety. With nitrous oxide or oral conscious sedation, we can help any patient feel more at ease throughout treatment. Not only will Dr. David be able to work more efficiently, saving time, but the patient will remain still and comfortable from beginning to end.
T-Scan by Tekscan
How your teeth come together is called your occlusion. Think about aligning Lego bricks or pieces of a puzzle—when they don’t fit correctly, coupled with time and force, conditions such as the following will result:
- Chipped, cracked, and sensitive teeth
- Bone loss and gum recession
- Facial muscle pain, neck and back pain, headaches, and TMJ-related pathology
Dr. David commonly hears his patients claiming that they feel these things are due to age and genetics. Few conditions have anything to do simply with genetics alone, and age is only correlated due to the fact that the conditions have been misdiagnosed or undiagnosed for a long period of time. Dr. David often speaks with his patients about epigenetics in order for patients to be encouraged that they have more of a say in their health than they once thought.
The majority of these problems are related to a poor relationship between how your upper and lower teeth come together. TMJ and muscle-related issues are similar and arise when the teeth and jaws do not work in harmony when you close. In time, these systems break down. These are problems related to alignment and mechanics. To closely evaluate a patient’s bite, Dr. David uses the T-Scan by Tekscan, which is a digital analysis system. When the individual bites down on the device, it will register the force and timing of the teeth coming together, generating 2D and 3D images that are easier to view and analyze compared to traditional bite paper. This can help him to identify the root cause of someone’s jaw and head pain and enable him to make precise adjustments to the bite, providing lasting relief.
Cavity Detection System
Identifying the earliest signs of dental decay and cavities can mean less time and money spent on restorative care. This is why Dr. David often relies on DIAGNOdent™ - a handheld pen that can detect cavities using laser fluorescence technology. By highlighting hidden areas of decay with this device, we can build a treatment plan that addresses the issue early on and allows the patient to avoid more extensive and invasive solutions.
Velscope
Staying healthy involves early detection. The Velscope is a non-invasive, handheld device that helps screen for oral cancer and other abnormalities that may not be visible to the naked eye. It uses a safe blue light that allows us to detect changes in oral tissue at an earlier stage, when treatment is most effective. The screening is quick, painless, and can be done right during your routine dental exam—giving you peace of mind and an added layer of protection.

BioSure Aqueous Ozone
The healthcare industry has a moral responsibility for ensuring that every patient is treated in a safe and sanitary environment and that every staff member works in safe conditions. We take your health very seriously; being a wellness-based and biological office, safe and natural alternatives to traditional harmful chemicals are a requirement.
Aqueous ozone is highly recommended by international healthcare experts and world-renowned dentists. Our electrolytic ozone generator can instantly produce a high concentration of dissolved ozonated water with no ozone leakage. This ensures operator safety while using the ozone water to sanitize equipment, flush dental water lines, and provide ozone therapies for dental patients.
We have an ozonated water generator from BioSure on site, producing electrically-charged water that is used in a variety of ways. We use it during treatments to kill harmful bacteria and as a high-level disinfectant throughout the office. It kills bacteria without the harmful side effects and toxicity of chemicals.
